Ability to pull ingredients into In Progress assemblies

Let’s say you have created a Packaging Assembly and you want to use the liquid you have created in an “In Progress” Batch Assembly. Previously you needed to open that batch assembly and push the liquid into the packaging assembly by using an output. If you wanted to add liquid from multiple batch assemblies this could feel a little but labour intensive. We’ve therefore made a tiny improvement that should make this feel so much easier!

Now, you can pull ingredients from an In Progress Batch Assembly, into your Packaging Assemblies without having to find and open the Batch Assembly.

On an In Progress assembly, you can go to the Ingredients card, select “Use Ingredient”

In the modal use the “Use from External Assembly” toggle to show the “*Assembly” Field where you can select the assembly that you wish to pull the liquid from.

You will then be given the option to choose how much you want to pull etc.

ImprovementsContainer Tracking

Container Tracking- New "Dirty" Status and ways to update

Our users wanted to keep records of when a container was cleaned in BrewMan.

New Dirty Status Introduced

We’ve introduced a new status of “Dirty” into BrewMan. When containers are returned they will now be marked as Dirty. They can then be updated to “In” to show they are at the brewery clean and ready to be used again. Records of this transition will be shown on log in the Container Record.

Note: Container status’ are not required to be linear by the system. Meaning a container that is dirty will update to whatever the user tells it to, it can become Filled, Out or Lost without ever being marked as “In”.

Updating Status’ by Scanning

In the BrewMan Distribution app the “Return Containers” option in the main menu is now “Update Containers”. This is because this flow now allows you to mark containers as Dirty or Clean when they are scanned. This means there is a convenient way to scan containers to mark them as dirty and then mark them as clean when they have been cleaned.

Updating Status’ on the Container List page

On the Container List page in BrewMan you can now select multiple containers and update their status’ in bulk.
